Sudan Crisis: Danger and Opportunity Amidst Rising Death Toll and Hospital Attacks.

At least 185 people have been killed and 1,800 injured in three days of fighting between rival factions in Sudan, with tanks, artillery, and other heavy weapons being used in densely populated areas. The power struggle pits General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the commander of the armed forces, against General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, the head of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group. The UN, US, and others have called for a truce, while the G7 foreign ministers have condemned the fighting and urged the parties to end hostilities immediately without pre-conditions.
