"Siege on Health Centres: North Gaza's Day of War Against Hospitals"

Hospitals in northern Gaza, including Al-Shifa Hospital, have come under intense attack as Israeli troops continue their advance. Israeli tanks have surrounded at least four hospitals, hindering medical operations and causing casualties among patients and displaced Palestinians seeking shelter. The Israeli army has demanded the evacuation of these facilities, but there is nowhere for the large number of patients to go. Human Rights Watch has called on world leaders to prevent further mass atrocities, while the Palestinian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates accuses Israel of using hospitals as hostages for political gains. The World Health Organization reports that 18 out of 35 hospitals in Gaza are currently out of service, and at least 57 ambulances have been damaged.
