Israel's Determination to Crush Hamas Escalates Siege of Gaza

Hospitals in Gaza are overwhelmed as the violence between Israel and Hamas intensifies, with nearly 3,000 people dead in just six days. More than 1,500 Palestinians have been killed, including 45 members of an extended family in an airstrike on their Gaza home. In Israel, over 1,300 people have been killed, including 25 Americans. The U.S. government plans to operate charter flights to evacuate the more than 100,000 Americans in the region.
