Controversial Actions in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Spark Outrage

Aryeh Yitzhak King, the deputy mayor of Jerusalem and a far-right politician, called for the Israeli army to bury alive hundreds of Palestinian civilians captured in Gaza, describing them as "subhuman." King's comments, which violated rules on social media platform X, referenced footage of captured Palestinians being stripped and guarded by Israeli soldiers. He invoked a biblical reference to justify his genocidal language, echoing sentiments expressed by other far-right Israelis. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 17,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and around 1,200 Israelis, most of whom were civilians.
