Israeli Hostage Recounts Horrific Sexual Assault by Hamas Captors
TL;DR
Amit Soussana, a former Israeli hostage, revealed that she was sexually assaulted and tortured by a Hamas militant named Muhammad during her 55-day captivity in Gaza, with her account consistent with testimonies given to Israeli medical officials. Hamas has denied the allegations, but a UN report stated there was "clear and convincing information" of sexual violence during the raid. Soussana described the terror of being reliant on her abuser for protection while held captive.
