In-Flight Brawl Results in Smashed Window and Emergency Landing

Four passengers were arrested after two mid-air brawls on a flight from Cairns to Groote Eylandt, which resulted in an emergency landing. A woman was charged with disorderly behavior, common assault, and failing to comply with safety instructions, while three other passengers were charged with various offenses, including intentionally endangering the safety of others, aggravated assault, and drug possession. The incident involved rowdy passengers fighting near the plane's aisle, with one allegedly raising a bottle above their head to strike another passenger. An internal window was also smashed during the altercation.
