Israeli-American Police Officer Brutally Stabbed to Death by Teenage 'Terrorist'

A 20-year-old Israeli-American woman, Sgt. Elisheva Rose Ida Lubin, was stabbed to death by a 16-year-old Palestinian assailant while patrolling Jerusalem's Old City. Lubin, who defended a kibbutz against a recent Hamas terrorist attack, was critically injured and later succumbed to her wounds. Another officer sustained minor injuries, while a third officer fought off the attacker. The Israeli Defense Forces later hunted down and killed the teenage assailant during a raid. Lubin, who immigrated to Israel from the US, was designated a "lone soldier" and was living in Israel without her family.
