Chinese Hackers Target US Navy in Cyber Attack Campaign

Chinese state-sponsored hackers, known as Volt Typhoon, have breached government, communications, manufacturing, and IT organizations in the US and Guam, including the US Navy, according to Microsoft. The hacking campaign has raised concerns that Beijing is preparing to disrupt communications in the Pacific in the event of a conflict. The US, UK, and other allied nations have confirmed the campaign. The NSA has warned that Chinese hackers could still have access to sensitive US networks that they’ve targeted. China has denied the hacking accusations.
