State Railway Network in Poland Targeted in Hacking Probe

Poland's Internal Security Agency (ABW) is investigating a hacking attack on the country's railway network, which caused traffic disruption and delays. Hackers used railway frequencies to trigger an emergency stoppage of trains in northwestern Poland. The incident is being taken seriously due to recent attempts by Russia to destabilize Poland. The state railway operator is also investigating two train derailments and a collision, although there is currently no indication that these incidents are linked to the hacking attack.
