Ukraine arrests ransomware hackers causing havoc

Ukrainian authorities, with the assistance of Europol, have arrested a 32-year-old suspected ringleader and four other alleged hackers involved in a ransomware gang operating in Ukraine. The gang is accused of extorting "several hundred millions of euros" from victims in 71 countries.
