IDF Combat Engineers Knock Out 1,000 Hezbollah Sites in Southern Lebanon

Lt.-Col. 'R', commander of the IDF's 603rd Combat Engineering Battalion, says his unit has destroyed over 1,000 Hezbollah infrastructure sites in southern Lebanon in about five weeks, using drones, robots and heavy engineering to blow tunnels, depots and weapons caches—many hidden in civilian houses. The operation, which followed Gaza campaigns, required adapting to Lebanon's topography, and the IDF plans to continue clearing threats for months to protect Israeli civilians and ensure maneuverability for troops and vehicles.
