Ukraine's Potential Acquisition of Vintage British Chieftan Tanks

Ukraine may acquire old British-designed Chieftan tanks, which are considered obsolete but still capable of outclassing ex-Soviet tanks. The Chieftan's firepower and optics provide long-range day-night capabilities, although its thin armor requires additional protection. Ukraine has a history of adding explosive reactive armor to its tanks, and it is likely they will do the same with the Chieftans. The tanks are expected to come from Jordan, one of the last countries to use them.
