Denmark imposes oral defenses on take-home essays to curb AI cheating

Denmark’s government has ordered emergency education measures to counter AI-assisted cheating in upper secondary exams: students must verbally defend all home-written assignments, screens can be monitored during tests, and schools are urged to use a firewall to limit access to online content.
