Canadian Wildfires Cause Unhealthy Air Quality Across North America

Wildfire smoke from Canada has caused the worst air quality of the season in West Michigan, with visibility dropping and air quality reaching unhealthy levels. An Air Quality Alert has been issued across all of Michigan for Tuesday, and sensitive groups are advised to limit outdoor activity. Smoke is expected to continue until at least Wednesday, and officials advise reducing unnecessary driving and activities that would add to pollution concentrations in the area. It is suggested to keep windows closed overnight and run central air conditioning with MERV-13 or higher-rated filters.
