Hungary bus crash kills at least 12 Polish pilgrims

A Polish tourist bus carrying pilgrims from Serbia to Poland crashed and overturned on Hungary’s M3 near Mezőkeresztes, killing at least 12 people and injuring 47, including five in critical condition. The bus had 57 passengers and two drivers; the driver was detained after reportedly falling asleep at the wheel. A Polish consular flight was dispatched, and the highway was closed for hours. This is Hungary’s deadliest road accident since 2003.
