Fatal Consequences: Man Dies from Eating Poisonous Pufferfish

A man in Brazil died 35 days after cooking and eating a poisonous pufferfish that was gifted to him, while his friend survived the deadly meal. The man suffered seizures and paralysis from the toxins, which are 1,000 times deadlier than cyanide. Pufferfish contain tetrodotoxin, a potent poison that has no known antidote.
