Dutch sperm donor fathers over 500 children, faces legal action.

A sperm donor in the Netherlands, identified as "Jonathan M.," has allegedly fathered more than 500 children, according to the Donorkind Foundation. The foundation is now fighting to prevent donors from remaining anonymous, as it makes it difficult to control the number of children each donor fathers. A lawsuit has been filed by the mother of one of his children to prevent him from donating in the future. The Dutch medical guidelines allow a donor to father only 25 children to avoid possible incest and psychological problems. The foundation is also asking the Netherlands to destroy any of the samples "Jonathan M." has stored, except those to be used by women who already had a baby via his donation and would like to give a sibling to their child.
