Sam Neill Opens Up About Battle with Stage 3 Blood Cancer

Sam Neill, best known for his role in the Jurassic Park franchise, has revealed that he was diagnosed with stage 3 blood cancer, angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, earlier this year. He has undergone chemotherapy and is currently cancer-free. Neill has also written a new book, Did I Ever Tell You This?, which details his emigration from Northern Ireland to New Zealand as a child and his acting career. He said the book served as a "lifesaver" during his illness, as it gave him a reason to live.
