Sperm donor sued over fathering 550 children to reduce incest risk.

A Dutch musician, Jonathan Jacob Meijer, is facing legal action from the mother of one of the children he fathered and Donorkind, a Dutch organization for children conceived via sperm donations, for allegedly fathering 550 children through sperm donations. The Dutch guidelines allow donors to father no more than 25 children to prevent accidental incest. Meijer has been accused of donating sperm to at least 13 clinics and communicating with prospective parents on social media using an alias. The civil lawsuit is requesting that Meijer be banned from new donations, stops communicating with prospective parents, and writes to clinics that are storing his sperm to destroy it.
