Thai Mother's Joy: Daughter Released from Gaza, Dances in Celebration

Bunyarin Srijan, the mother of Natthawaree Mulkan, a Thai hostage released by Hamas in a prisoners swap deal with Israel, expressed her joy by dancing with her granddaughter outside their home in northeastern Thailand. Natthawaree was the only female among the 10 Thai hostages freed by Hamas. Bunyarin had lost touch with her daughter after the attack and stopped following the news, fearing the worst. With her daughter's safe return, Bunyarin plans to take her to the temple for religious rites. The Thai government is still working to secure the release of 20 remaining Thai citizens held captive.
