Prominent Afghan Girls' Education Activist Arrested by Taliban, UN Confirms

Matiullah Wesa, an Afghan activist who has campaigned for girls' education, has been arrested by Taliban security forces in Kabul. Wesa is the founder and president of Pen Path, a local NGO that promotes education through a mobile school and library.
