"Children in Gaza: Enduring Hell, Attacks, and the Need for Care"

UNICEF warns that children in Gaza are enduring "ten weeks of hell" due to a lack of food, water, shelter, and sanitation, as well as relentless airstrikes. Over 19,400 Palestinians have been killed, with 70% of them being women and children. Hospitals are overwhelmed, and many children have lost limbs. The situation is described as "unconscionable" and "beyond belief." The largest remaining hospital in Gaza was shelled twice, and the so-called "safe zones" lack resources for survival. The dire lack of sanitation and soaring malnutrition pose deadly risks, and the delivery of aid is a matter of life or death. A ceasefire is urgently needed to end the suffering and enable the delivery of life-saving aid.
