Foreigners among 21 dead as Delhi's Malviya Nagar blaze rages
TL;DR
A five-storey bed-and-breakfast building in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar caught fire on Wednesday morning, killing 21 people, including 18 foreign nationals from Nigeria, Mozambique, Bangladesh, Somalia, Liberia and Afghanistan. Investigators are weighing a short-circuit cause after earlier reports of a cylinder blast, with the ground-floor restaurant operating and the upper floors used as a hotel; around 10 police personnel were injured during the rescue.
