American Veterans Assist in Evacuating Americans from Gaza

Evacuating Americans from Gaza during the Israel-Hamas conflict has proven to be more challenging than recent rescue missions, including the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, according to special operations veteran Alex Plitsas. The Special Operations Association of America has been assisting Americans in leaving the region, but the process has been complicated by negotiations between Egypt, Israel, and Hamas. While some progress has been made with 79 Americans successfully crossing into Egypt, the situation remains precarious, and volunteers are focused on ensuring the safety of all civilians and a resolution to the conflict.
