"Defected Russian Helicopter Pilot Found Dead in Spain"

Maksym Kuzminov, the Russian pilot who defected to Ukraine with an Mi-8 helicopter, was found shot to death in an underground parking lot in southern Spain. Kuzminov, who had been living in Spain under an alternative name with a Ukrainian passport, defected in August as part of a special operation called "Titmouse." Ukrainian officials had relocated his family from Russia before the defection. Kuzminov, who brought stolen fighter jet parts with him, was promised a $500,000 reward and was providing Ukraine with key Russian aviation intelligence.
