Global Demonstrations Unite in Support of Palestinians, Condemning Israeli Conflict

Demonstrators worldwide rallied in solidarity with the Palestinian people, condemning Israel's war on Gaza and calling for a permanent ceasefire. Protests took place in various cities, including Manila, Tunis, Tehran, Karachi, Beirut, Harare, Tokyo, Stockholm, London, Johannesburg, Quezon City, and Milan. The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, observed on November 29, marks the anniversary of the UN General Assembly's resolution to partition Palestine into two states. The conflict has resulted in a significant number of casualties, with Palestinian health authorities reporting around 15,000 deaths, including many children and women. Israel and Hamas have agreed to extend a fragile truce for another day.
