International Special Forces Collaborate to Locate Hostages in Gaza

The US has reportedly deployed special forces to Israel to assist in locating and rescuing hundreds of hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. While the US has previously sent military advisers to support Israel in its fight against Hamas, this marks the first indication of commandos being deployed. The objective of the US personnel is to identify and rescue hostages, including American citizens. The commandos are working alongside FBI, State Department, and other US hostage-recovery specialists, as well as Israeli forces. Several other Western nations have also discreetly moved small teams of special forces closer to Israel to support potential rescue operations or evacuations.
