Possible Arrival of Wagner Group in Belarusian Base Indicated by Satellite Images

Satellite images analyzed by The New York Times suggest that vehicles resembling those used by the Russian mercenary group Wagner have arrived at a military field camp in Belarus. More than a dozen vehicles, including large civilian trucks, vans, and cars, have been spotted at the former military base in Asipovichy. While the images do not conclusively prove the presence of Wagner forces, they support claims by Ukraine's allies that some Wagner troops have reached Belarus. The whereabouts of the Wagner mercenaries have been unclear since their failed revolt against Russian President Vladimir Putin, but a deal brokered by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko granted them sanctuary in Belarus.
