"Ukraine to Pay Russian Defector $500,000"

A Russian pilot who defected to Ukraine with stolen fighter jet spare parts will receive a $500,000 reward from Ukraine, as part of a law passed last year offering up to $1 million to Russian soldiers for stolen equipment. The pilot, Maksym Kuzminov, surrendered last month after a 6-month secret defection plot and is now encouraging other soldiers to follow his lead.
