Ukraine's Counteroffensive: Long, Bloody, and Challenging, Warns US General

The US' highest-ranking military officer, Gen Mark Milley, has warned that Ukraine's counter-offensive against Russia will be difficult and "very bloody". He acknowledged that progress has been slower than predicted but stated that Ukraine is advancing steadily. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused some Western partners of delaying promised training for Ukrainian pilots. Gen Milley emphasized the challenges of war and the sacrifices being made by Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines. He assured that the US is providing as much help as possible. Ukraine's military commander-in-chief also expressed frustration over the slow deliveries of promised weapons from the West.
