Wagner Group and Prigozhin's Threat: Belarus Builds Camps for Relocated Fighters.

The future of the Wagner mercenary group, which has provided fighters for hire across Africa and other countries with the Kremlin's approval, is uncertain after its founder and leader, Yevgeniy Prigozhin, called off a 24-hour mutiny against Russian President Vladimir Putin. While Prigozhin vowed to continue operating Wagner from Belarus, Putin said that fighters who sided with him could go to Belarus, join the Russian security forces or head home. Wagner fighters have operated in more than a dozen countries, serving as security for Russian assets or host governments, and fighting on the battlefield.
