Russia Thwarts Ukraine's Drone Attacks on Moscow

The Russian military claims to have intercepted and destroyed a group of Ukrainian vessels, including a speedboat with Ukrainian soldiers and unmanned sea drone boats, that were heading towards the Crimean Peninsula. Russia's claim of thwarting an attack by Ukraine on Crimea comes after previous attacks on Russian targets in the region. Russian President Vladimir Putin took Crimea from Ukraine in 2014 and has declared it belongs to Russia, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has vowed to reclaim the region. Russia has also made advances in its military operations in other areas of Ukraine.
