Ukraine and Russia's Ongoing Conflict: Latest Updates and Developments.

The British Defense Ministry reports that Russia is likely conducting a more defensive operational design in Ukraine after inconclusive results from its attempts to conduct a general offensive since January 2023. The International Committee of the Red Cross says some 10,000 Ukrainian civilians are living in dire conditions in Bakhmut and surrounding settlements. Air force commanders from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark have signed a letter of intent to create a unified Nordic air defense to counter the rising threat from Russia.
