Explosion Claims Life of Putin Ally in Occupied Ukraine

Vladimir Malov, a Russian official and ally of President Vladimir Putin, was killed in occupied Ukraine when the car he was in exploded. Malov had been serving as the secretary of the local branch for the United Russia party in Kherson Oblast. The incident is being called a "terrorist attack" by Russian collaborator Vladimir Saldo, who implied that it was orchestrated by Ukraine. Officials in Kyiv have not yet commented on the matter. This follows a pattern of assassination attempts against officials viewed as collaborating with Russian forces in Ukraine.
