Denmark and Netherlands to Send 14 Tanks to Ukraine for Leopard Expansion

Denmark and the Netherlands will jointly donate 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, costing €165 million, to be delivered from early 2024. This comes on top of an announcement in February that at least 100 refurbished Leopard 1 tanks will be provided to Ukraine by Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands this year and next. Defense ministers from over 50 countries will meet in Germany to discuss military support to Ukraine, and Denmark's acting Defense Minister hopes to explore other international collaborations to help Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
