EU Boosts Military Aid to Ukraine with Additional €3.5 Billion

The EU has increased its military aid to Ukraine by $3.8 billion, bringing the total to over $13 billion. Meanwhile, the US is set to announce a new military aid package for Ukraine worth up to $500 million, including ground vehicles, anti-tank weapons, and munitions for anti-aircraft systems. Ukrainian forces have made some gains in the east, and downed two of three cruise missiles and seven of eight Iranian-made drones launched by Russia. The situation in Russia remains uncertain after the Wagner mutiny, which exposed fresh "cracks" in Putin's leadership, according to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
