"Experts predict decades-long conflict between Russia and Ukraine"

Dmitry Medvedev, a senior ally of President Putin, said that negotiations with Ukraine were impossible as long as President Zelenskiy was in power and warned that the conflict in Ukraine could last for decades. Medvedev also cautioned that the West was underestimating the risk of a nuclear war over Ukraine and that Russia would launch a pre-emptive strike if Ukraine gets nuclear weapons. He said that the very nature of the current government of Ukraine would have to be destroyed and negotiations with "the clown Zelenskiy" were impossible.
