Germany plans to operate its final evacuation flight from Sudan, having flown out almost 500 people from 30 countries. The World Health Organization has warned of a biological hazard in Khartoum, as one of the fighting factions captured a laboratory holding various pathogens. The UN refugee agency has warned that the fighting in Sudan might cause hundreds of thousands to leave the country. The British government has announced it will be initiating the evacuation of its citizens from Sudan. French President Emmanuel Macron said France has evacuated 538 people from Sudan, after the cease-fire came into force.
