Kremlin supports China's Taiwan exercises, rejects French mediation in Ukraine.

The Kremlin has defended China's right to conduct military exercises around Taiwan, citing repeated "provocations" against China. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that China's actions were in line with international law and that everyone should respect them. Peskov also dismissed France's ability to mediate in the Ukraine conflict, saying that Paris was "both indirectly and directly involved in this conflict on the side of Ukraine."
