Polish President Andrzej Duda emphasized the importance of Western support for Ukraine in its defense against Russia, stating that defeating Russia in the Ukraine war is the only guarantee of peace in Europe. Duda called for Ukraine to push out the Russian army from occupied territories and regain control over its internationally recognized borders with the help of the United States and the West. Poland has been a strong ally of Ukraine, taking in over a million Ukrainian refugees and urging NATO partners to provide more military supplies to Kyiv. Despite corruption concerns in Ukraine, Duda believes that President Volodymyr Zelensky has taken steps to fight against corruption and that it should not hinder Western support for Ukraine's military efforts.
