The partnership between Russia and China has become a new challenge for the US, which sees itself as competing with both countries in different ways. The friendship between the two countries has military, diplomatic, and economic dimensions, and both see themselves in an existential conflict with the United States. While the strategic interests of China and Russia may align for now, there are differences between the two countries.
