Ukraine Accused of Attempted Drone Attack on Kremlin by Russia.

Russia has accused Ukraine of attempting to kill President Vladimir Putin with drones overnight in a failed attack on the Kremlin. Ukraine denies responsibility for the incident. The Kremlin said two drones had been used in the alleged attack on Putin's residence in the walled Kremlin citadel, but had been disabled by electronic defences. Victory Day is a major public holiday commemorating the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War Two, and a chance for Putin to rally Russians behind what he calls his "special military operation" in Ukraine.
