Ukraine Accused of Attempting to Assassinate Putin with Drones

Russia has accused Ukraine of attempting to assassinate President Vladimir Putin after two drones were downed near the Kremlin. Unverified footage on social media showed an object flying over the Kremlin before a small explosion. Ukraine denied any involvement in the drone strike. The Kremlin said it regarded this "as a planned terrorist act and an assassination attempt on the president", and Russia "reserves the right to take retaliatory measures wherever and whenever is deemed necessary".
