US and UK Leave UN Session as Russian War Criminal Wanted.

The US, UK, Albania, and Malta walked out on Russian envoy Maria Lvova-Belova, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court on war crimes charges, as she spoke to the UN Security Council about evacuating children from conflict zones. The US and UK blocked the meeting from being webcast, citing disinformation and Lvova-Belova's "horrible actions" in Ukraine. The ICC issued an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin and Lvova-Belova for illegally deporting children from Ukraine and transferring people to Russia since the invasion in February 2022. Russia has brought thousands of Ukrainian children to Russia, claiming it is a humanitarian campaign to protect orphans and abandoned children in the war zone.
