Surviving Sudan: Escaping Conflict and Crisis.

Thousands of Sudanese civilians have fled to Egypt to escape the ongoing conflict between forces loyal to Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and those backing his rival, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo. However, they have found themselves in another humanitarian crisis at the border, with many sleeping on the street for days with little food or water and no access to proper bathrooms or electricity. The vast majority of Sudanese cannot afford to escape the country and are left to shelter in Khartoum or flee to rural areas. The situation has left many locals with concerns over their safety and well-being.
