Ukraine faces multiple threats after dam collapse and floods.

The southern part of the Dnipro River is expected to return to its banks by June 16 after the Kakhovka dam in Ukraine collapsed, causing a massive flood. The flood has affected towns and villages below the dam, trapping residents and sweeping away entire houses. The Russian-installed official, Vladimir Saldo, said that more than 6,000 people had been evacuated from the flooded districts. Saldo also accused Ukraine of shelling temporary refuges for those displaced by the flood, which Ukraine denies. Separately, the Russian-backed governor of Crimea claimed that air defences had downed two Ukrainian ballistic missiles.
