Zelensky acknowledges slow progress in Ukraine war, but emphasizes no lost positions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has admitted that progress in the country's military offensive to recapture areas occupied by Russia has been slower than desired. He said the push was not going easily because 200,000 sq km of Ukrainian territory had been mined by Russian forces. Zelensky reinforced the need for Ukraine to be given security guarantees from NATO but said ultimately the goal was membership of the defensive alliance. He also spoke about the role the private sector can play in rebuilding his country, which has an estimated cost of reconstruction and recovery at $411bn.
