Nigerian Migrants Brave Atlantic Journey on Ship's Rudder

Four Nigerian stowaways embarked on a perilous two-week journey across the Atlantic Ocean, perched on the rudder of a tanker. Fleeing economic hardship and corruption in Nigeria, the men endured hunger, thirst, and exhaustion as they clung to the rudder, hoping to reach Europe. However, they ended up in Brazil, where they were rescued by a resupply boat. Two of the stowaways decided to return to Nigeria, while the other two, Roman Friday and Thankgod Opemipo Matthew Yeye, chose to make Brazil their new home. They face challenges ahead, but are grateful for the opportunity and hope for a brighter future.
