China's Nuclear Submarine Patrols Raise Concerns for US and Allies

China has adopted a policy of keeping at least one nuclear-capable submarine at sea at all times, placing further strain on US and allied forces in the region as they attempt to track China's vessels. The updated policy indicates that China has likely made many other structural changes to its navy that the US and its allies are not aware of. The US, UK, and Australia have entered an agreement for the production and sale of nuclear-powered attack submarines, which will increase Australia's capabilities and take some pressure off of US and UK forces in the region.
