Denmark's F-16 Retirement to Aid Ukraine.

Denmark is considering transferring F-16 Viper fighter jets to the Ukrainian Air Force as it begins training Ukrainian pilots to fly the jets. Denmark plans to retire its existing F-16AM/BMs by 2025, two years earlier than expected, which could pave the way for sending some of those aircraft to Ukraine. Multiple NATO members, including Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and the United Kingdom, have announced their intentions to train Ukrainian pilots to fly the F-16. The transfer of F-16s to Ukraine would significantly increase its air defense capabilities.
